Our doctors are registered with the GMC and has received comprehensive training and accreditation in the art of ear cleaning. We use a specialised technique called Microsuction.

Upon scheduling your appointment, it’s essential to begin using olive oil or almond oil ear drops three for up to three to five days before your appointment. This pre-treatment helps soften the earwax, increasing the likelihood of a successful Microsuction. Wax softeners are readily available at most high-street pharmacies.

After our doctor has assessed your ear canal, they will gently use a suction device to clear any obstructions caused by earwax.

In the event that our doctor encounters difficulty in removing all the wax, they will offer guidance on the next steps to be taken. Should there be no earwax requiring removal, the same fee of £70 will apply, and our doctor will engage in a discussion with you regarding the recommended course of action, which may involve a referral to a specialised Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) doctor.
